Looking for help on cable box

Hi all.

I currently use edision os mini box for my sky but a friend needs to get a similar setup but his flats only cater for vm cable...

What does he need....

I see there is cable version. Of the Edision box but in terms of channels do I need UK or Ireland n line or c line with this box....

Any help is appreciated

Also forgot to mention he has an active vm bb line but there is only a wall socket. What cable would he need to buy to connect the box to this socket or would it only need to connect to the vm bb.
