Loop out to second tuner losing channels

Hi,
I have a Mutant HD51 but am having problems with looping tuner A into tuner B.

Atm I'm using a 0.5m male to male RF cable with a male to female adapter but some channels are pixelated.

Adjusting the cable where the RF cable goes into the second tuner sometimes helps but results in a different channel become pixelated.

I've tried using a different RF cable with the same results.

Am I doing something wrong? Or do I need a higher quality RF cable for the loop as both the cables I've tried so far are pretty cheap ebay ones as I (probably stupidly) didn't think it would make a difference on such a short run.

I use a loop cable that I made myself on my Xtrend ET8500.
I find that it's best to use good quality cable and connectors and make it as short as possible.
I've got a HD51 but got it set up as a combi at the minute so not using a loop on it.

I have my own drum of wf100 cable and crimpers so i can make any length of cable with crimped ends if any members need any ::
