mag 256 bluescreening

Hi lads , anyone having issues with mag256 bluescreening and rebooting,,,seems to be only when hdmi cable is in,,,no pronlems with av cable

Hi, Did you get this issue sorted. I have had my mag256 over at a mates (as he is interested in buying one) it worked all ok but after spending 10mins showing him round it, it blue screened when I turned it off and back on again (got sound but all channels were blue screened), I turned off and on a few times before it cleared, wondered if it was just his hdmi or possible even the make of his tv (Panasonic), I run mine (which is the 'same' mag256 box) on a Samsung (Smart) and I have no blue screen issue. Let me know if you learnt anything that you could share. Thanks

It’s the tv output on the mag that needs changing. Unfortunately you can’t do it with hdmi connected.
You need to connect mag to tv using another method like component leads. There is a video explaing how to do it on this site somewhere.
