as like the protek 9600ip/maxx1000 the gift has been removed,my mate mdt wrote as follows.

The last free software boxes have been removed from the server. Options are use as FTA, card slot, newcamd, or obtain an ID.
so all protek/maxx1000 sd boxs will not connect anymore unless a 6 month id file is purchased. we have all had a great run but its time for a new box. personally i would like to thank the dark forces for their excellent support on these boxs over the last 5 years and hope the hi-def 97xx boxs last as long,regards mdt "
