Mgcamd 1.38 issue - needs to be restarted daily

Hi
VU solo 2 with VU USB turbo cable tuner on the openvix 5.0.025 image

For some reason, I have to restart the mgcamd plugin every morning.
I have got it set up so it restarts automatically.

It used to do so before, but over the last week it doesn't restart automatically after it has been on standby overnight.

Any ideas on what to do?

Have you installed anything recently that may cause an issue with your box..

I did do a reflash but this issue was happening before that.
Since the reflash, it has continied.

Have a look at your plugins, try removing one by one to see if it helps, or do another reflash with no plugins installed [ a base image ]

I had similar issue with my miraclebox from the start i reflashed it via the box & did not restore saved settings also my line provider changed my line details slightly but all these steps helped.

Ok I'll reflash it and install plugins 1 by 1 and see how it goes on day by day basis

My line provider says that the server reboots daily around 3am.
Could this be causing it?

Last couple of days I haven't had to restart anything.
I haven't changed anything at all.
I'll give it a few more days and see how it goes.

Just been into usr/keys and in the newcand.list there is a line at the top which says

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000

Is this what you were referring to?

yes you can take the keepalive down to 60 and take out the income port line but if you're sorted...
