Miracle mini plus set up help using apple mac

Im using a apple mac computer and have followed bees guide to near the end, i cannot open the files on my mac
i have both the cams showing on the tv
Mg camd1.35
Mgcamd 1.38

Never used an apple mac

apple is a problem when sharing files lost need apple specific files.....

its taken me 4 hours now head bursting lol

you dont open files as filezilla client transfers your 2 files hopefully mg_cfg and newcamd.list to usr/keys.
once on box with filezilla you can edit them/add your line save and exit out

Thanks catikid I'm struggling with the last bits I'm assuming its because I'm trying to read files on a mac computer that are microsoft and its not liking it.

had a look through the box this morning the box has all channels listed a few working i mean a few menus all look good ....mgcamd1.38 and 1.35 are there waiting for me to do the last bit

right moved over to laptop windows and no bother finished set up picked up mgcam 1.38 and connected

i have line but only getting about 8 of the 300 or so channels scanned showing any clues....

Blank screen for movies sport etc ?

How far did you get ?

Downloaded cams from the plugins menu ?

FTP'd the two files to usr/keys ?

Activated the cam ?

hi Bees happy new year

I decided to go through it all again and slowly i think i may have missed ticking some of the boxes to yes in the qam section the first time round.

anyway done it all and i have 300 and odd tv channels and radio channels.

can only see 5 tv channels bbc1.. bbc 2 ...itv...4 and channel 5

my live test line was disconnected so just waiting to get another and hopefully all will work.

does thats sound feasible

Well three days later and i have success.....i still don't know what i was doing wrong if anything but after 4 factory resets and starting again it has kicked in and all is really good fantastic picture quality.

One thing all the mucking about means is i can set this miraclebox mini up in about 5 minutes now lol

seriously though i have done the same set up procedures nothing different but it would not kick in......another thing i noticed was when you factory reset the mgcam 1.38 can still be there so you need to disconnect them a bit strange. So people may not be doing anything wrong if like me it would not work just need to try try try again
