'MythBusters' drops hosts Kari Byron, Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci



Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman revealed that longtime co-hosts and fan favorites Kari Byron, Grant Imahara, and Tory Belleci are no longer on the show.

"This next season we're going back to our origins with just Adam and me," Hyneman said in the video, which explained that the change took hold as of the season's last episode on August 21.

Sounds like some funding problems to me, one has to hope that the dastardly trio didn't find out in that segment lol - it was more than a little crappy. I wonder if the egos got too big to share the limelight!!

For sure it was a budget decision I'd say.

They all had their role but I have to say that Grant Imahara is a genius when it comes to electronics and radio control, he will be the biggest loss I would think.

Whether it was cuts due to ratings drop or they were demanding too much, all three at once has "Hammer" written all over it.

It sure does Gman, as you say Grant was excellent at all things robotic/remote control. I only last week watched the first episode on netflix, and it was so amateurish, but we shall see if they can pull it off.

Well she is 40 this December lol


Anyone know anything about her spinoff science show called "Head Rush"? Started in 2010 It's done 4 seasons and is currently between seasons. I wonder if that will be shafted too?
