Can you tell if a voice recorded message has been tampered with ie parts cut out and deleted? my work are trying to stitch me up,

There are ways yes :-

Visual examination of the sound wave, sonogram and spectrograph reveal speech characteristics and patterns of verbal delivery as well as electronic characteristics. The recording has to be digitized so forensic software can analyze and conduct various tests. If the culprits have pieced existing sounds together chances are you would see a slight interference between the joins or other uncharacteristic waveform changes.

There is software to do it too see your p.m.
