The first post is a bit misleading.

If you are trying to get the new EPG, then it's for the "s" models only.

The new firmware for the F3/F5/M3 (dated 23/12/13) is a fix for You Tube & You P0rn only.

Thank you for clearing that up, I thought originally it was only for the boxes
with an "s"

But when I read this thread I thought there has been a new development.

I re-flashed my F5 to make sure that wasn't the problem,

but I still didn't get the "EPG and Timer Setting" option in any of the menus.
 
Which update do I need for EPG update
or do I follow them instructions from previous page if I want to upgrade my f3s box
what I mean is do I have todo a full dump and software upgrade. Or just go into settings and update EPG

F3s is the fourth one in the list of firmwares.

You will need to flash that then follow the instructions already posted by Fusion in post 14

Its done, nice and simple following instructions and a weird thing is i didnt need to update my c cline it all rebooted and is up and running.
Just set epg up and it fine all channels on
and YOU porn back on

done the update really easily :)

Found just having the .rar file on the usb when doing the update helped.

However its left me with a question - can you run a USB hub from the F5s model?
 
Bah ! Humbug!! When I hit update button it starts ok but then stalled at " Channel Decompress Failed!!!"

Re-installed the firmware, but still get the same message:damn:
 
I have Skybox F5S and when even i download file for update my Image or Channels List file.... its always say File Mismatch Error , last time i update my Firmware through this website www.hddvbsw.com and its work for my Skybox F5s.... but no single file working for me when i download from SkyBox | SkyBox ???? is that mean my Box is Clone and If yes then what is the Solution , i want to update EPG ?
 
Is the picon a seperate download ?

Epg working fine on my 5s but would like the icons as well
 
Press Menu button
Select: Network Local Settings
press OK buttion
press 6666
CCcam menu should appear
 
Its a shame this isn't for F3 or F5 boxes.

I hope somebody somewhere can modify the firmware for us non-S model users :(

Oh well. I need a new box for the bedroom so I might demote the lounge box (F5) to the bedroom and buy an F5S for the lounge.

It's supposed to work this way but I've got no picon menu in multimedia even though I've put the picon file in root of usb...

.Add picon function.
a. Copy the ics files to the usb device, goto the "MultiMedia", select
"Picon View" to View the icons infomation, or Switch on off.
