New flat! Testing zgemma box.

Hi people!

My brother has just moved into his new flat and has asked me to set him up with a box. However he has both cable and satellite connections in his flat. His preference would be to have a zgemma h2h box as cable has full hd channels rather than the standard def satellite alternative.

Problem is how could I check tht his cable connection is still live in the cabinet? Dont want to buy the box to find out it wont work. My friend has zgemma h2h box. Could I just use his box to test to see if the free to air channels work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes you can. Ensure that you are searching on correct NET ID area
or if you have actual virgin receiver try that too.

Normally in a block of flats the feeds will be live as its normally a communal dish and virgin run one feed to the property and distribute it to all flats, not like individual homes if that makes sense, so normally in the flats its either all on or all off for cable.....my son got the same in his new flat, one cable and one sat feed mounted on the wall, set up a combo and it works fine.
