New to this and need advice on a box

I'm looking for a box that will series link and record. It doesn't need to have internal drive as I've got an external one but the easier the box is to use the better. Anyone got any suggestions?

don't think you can get any box that series links but you can set the time a dates of when to record manually if you have a hddd plugged in with a 7 day epg.

Enigma 2 boxes can be set to "weekly" I think that's
about as close as you will get to series record

Download the Autotimer plugin and have a play around with it, its a bit fiddly, by no means as good as series link on your typical freeview or sly+ but you may be able to get it to work well for you

Enigma 2 boxes do series links. when you go into the EPG select the program you want to record. press the record button then select the auto timer from the drop down list instead of add timer. this sets up series links of recordings of the program from week to week. this is on Open Vix images.
