Just had an update from ZGemma on Facebook stating that a new receiver is available, the Star H5.2S

I was thinking of upgrading to the Star H2S due to the sluginess of the 2S, but will now wait to see how this model performs :nerd:

We are hoping to have these in soon.

They are about the same as the h2s, but they support H.265 where the
H2S only supports H.264

But there doesn't seem to be much of difference, other than the h265
so not worth updating if you have a h2s
if on a 2s yea go for it
 
is the codec a software application, in which case can it just be added to the h2s? will it make that much difference to iptv/ watching over the net?
 
I didn't think the H5 was available in the UK yet.

How does its performance compare against the 2S? The one thing that really bugs me is the delay from pressing a key, and something happening e.g. the epg.

You will notice a difference between the two. If you want a faster more responsive receiver get something with a 1.3ghz processor
 
As far as I can see that is all the difference. There maybe others features must be hidden lol


so pip upgrade Then?
