Hi all, New to site and was wondering about something with my M8 Android TV Box. It recently stared up with what looks like a "locked" screen with an emergency call feature.
I didn't know what this was about so I factory reset my box. By doing this it then cleared my XBMC install to what looked a fresh install instead of the preloaded version which was originally supplied.

Can anyone tell me WHY this locked screen suddenly appeared and if it does again what should I do. OR how do I get back the original install from purchase ?

Never heard of this.

In future you can install an addon from the kodi repo that backs up your xbmc to a usb drive, if you ever need to factory reset again then you won't loose everything
 
Thanks for message Post101. The issue I was getting has not returned since I factory reset and also installed the wizard sw ... Hopefully all sorted.
