No red green yellow or blue buttons on remote

I got an H96 Max over the Christmas and I'm using smart IPTV app for my IPTV subscription.

In that app you've to use the red green yellow and blue buttons to do certain things .. like EPG and favourite and other things... But I don't have tbem... Currently all I can do is Scroll through a list of 1000s of stations .

Is there anything I can do ?

Will universal remote work with it ?

Why not just try another app where you don't need to use the colour buttons for EPG

on google and you will see it on amazon m8.

They are actually lights.. they are not lit up until you do something
