HD51 4K openatv

hi guys , I tried to update my mutant hd51 today and it said my image is out of date and not to use online update so do I have to re-flash and do it all again? Also I thought 6.1 was up to date ? If it’s not where can I get the newest one ?

ps you can do 6.2 by pressing blue. But it could still be rough around the edges.

Make sure you backup before doing


6.1 is the latest version but they do nightly updates and if they change something big. They recommend a fresh flash

Been using atv 6.2 for week or so now and works perfect

How is it when scrolling the epg, my mutant box is the best I’ve used running openatv 6.1 my only issue is when I scroll down the epg it will freeze sometimes n the only way to get it bk on is to unplug n plugin again so hopefully 6.2 won’t do this. Ive also bought a 256gb ssd for it and hope that solves it also and it should be quicker n smoother
