openbox v8s updated with wrong firmware

OOPS
i just did an upgrade by network on my v8s openbox as had no signal showing on any channel and clicked the wrong firmware file and upgraded to skybox 9s and have tried to re-do it afterwards but now there is no v8s firmware to select!!!!!
can anyone advise how to correct this or have i killed it??

Download the openbox v8s by the network file onto formated u.s.b stick press menu scroll to tools scroll down to update by u.s.b select image file openboxv8s by network scroll down to upgrade box should reboot with firmware

i did all that and it goes through the motions then comes up "hardware mismatch"
any ideas
 
If it's mismatch firmware it's the wrong firmware for your box

yeah that was my mistake when i tried to update firmware but mistakenly selected skybox f9s but i tried to upgrade by network again and no openbox v8s firmware available now
might be time to buy another

thanks reaper i have managed to get the right firmware on my openbox v8s but i have no signal on every channel??
sorry to be a pain but any more help would be appreciated
