Openvpn issues.

Afternoon all,

I have just ftp'd into my box and copied into etc/openvpn a client.conf file for a vpn from freevpn.me.

I have not activated this vpn yet but first rebooted to ensure file was there properly. My box now freezes on 41% when booting. It shows up on my network but I am unable to ftp in to delete the client.conf file as this is what I assume is causing the issue. Any help appreciated.

Try disconnecting the box from you network. and reboot

Have tried that and it still freezes at 41%

You will probably have to reflash the box. Did you make a backup of your settings.

I made a back up of my keys folder.

What image was you using?

It was Vix image. I have found all the instructions to reflash and just hope my saved lines will work ok ;-)

Don't worry. As long as you have got the line info thats the main thing. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. Come back to us if you get stuck.

All sorted. Re flashed and added lines in and it is all working again.
