Cable Optcombo third tuner not appearing in configuration

I have connected a male to female patch cable from box to usb splitter.

Installed driver dvb-usb-opticombo (2.0-r8)

After reboot the the tuner doesnt appear..

Any suggestions?

To add when i install the driver, it does a quick message could not open and something else...

I fixed the issue...

I transferred the files from OpenATV to OpenVix and it's working fine.

Only issue now is my setup which i can sort out as i know what to do :)

Yes if you know which files to replace...

Replacing the wrong ones can result in other drivers to not work...

I had a WDMYCloud network mounted and it wasn't getting mounted after replacing a driver at random..

But i backed up the entire OpenVix drivers i had before and checked carefully which ones specifically need replacing from OpenATV in order to get it working.


If you are on Wooshbuild/BioHead/IPab (OpenATV), then best not worrying about it..

Only reason i did this was because OpenVix is my favourite image from other images i have used in the past.
 
Hi Guys,

Sorry to hijack this thread but i was wondering where did you buy the usb tunner from. I have been looking for the last few days and one site that used to do it (zgemma.co.uk) has stopped stocking it. Any good directions would be greatly appreciated.
