Hi,

I received my box a few weeks ago.
There was plastic on the front which I have taken off.

However there is plastic on the top and sides which is difficult to take off.

Is this suppose to be taken off?

what has everyone else done?
 
clear plastic film, take it off, it clears the vents.

theres a warranty sticker at the back, cut round it if you want it left on, if it bothers you losing any 'warranty'
 
Crikey heard one guys machine overheated and could have been much worse as left plastic on and was in close space id say you've been lucky !

and don't keep it on top of anything else that 'gives out heat' - I used to have mine sitting on top of a shy box as I STILL have a subscription (mad I know !) until I checked one day at just how hot they can become after getting a few performance issues. the vents need to be open and air also needs to be able to circulate around the receiver !!
