Please help 1st time cable scan

Hey guys just after a bit of help, just got vm installed with broadband and put a splitter in but need help working out how to scan for the 1st time. Always had motorised but have just put a cable tuner in my solo4k. I have tried putting a couple of different net id codes in but not getting anything to scan. I'm in wakefield and tried net id. I have tried, 40961 and 00001 West Yorkshire TW 40961 539.000 6.952
West Yorkshire NTL 00001 755.000 6.887 but not really sure if this is correct and don't know exactly what I need to do. Please help.

ha ha need a dumbies guide, just getting scanning failed. I cannot be that hard. Is my symbol rate that 6952 or 6887, West Yorkshire TW 40961 539.000 6.952

I'm using openatv and the only autobouquets I have is for 28.2 satellite. this is much harder than sat :(

You just use the longest number that comes first:
00001 Hudds and Dewsbury
41053 Leeds
40961 would be Hudds also

once you set your tuner up for dvb-c then select providers and tick virmin as well as sat
thats with ABM
its really dead easy if you follow bees guide

There is 2 versions of ABM in the feeds mate, the one in the extensions bit (1.0something) is the old sat one, if you go to the system plugins section you will find the right one (2.9 i think). install, reboot go to search settings, configure ABM and do the above

ok guys after playing about and not really knowing what I did the box checked for valid transponders then did a scan and I got 364 channels :) the oscam set up I was using for sat works fine for cable. I was wondering where they would go into my sat list and its nice and easy at the top. Happy for now all channels in order and it was net id 00001.
