Cable signals are sometimes a complete nightmare.

If it's freezing, your problem may be not that it's weak but that it's too strong. Try adding an attenuator.

What channels are you having issues with?

I seem to have the issue with boxnation and have had trouble with ppv sky events whether it happens on other channels im not sure but most of my hd sports channels are fine. Oh and didnt know if you knew or anyone else does but i cant seem to find a hd ppv channel running through vm

A lot of cache servers don't clear less popular channels like that. Or they freeze badly. checked Bloomberg, arts, forces, cnbc too for example??? You will need to know how to test a line for a day min then put your old line back on. Good practice! Worth it though....
