Problem with cable reception

I've been using cable for years with a splitter without signal issues but I've just started having trouble.

I'm now getting poor service, even on the VM Tivo (picture breaking up, channels not tuning etc).

Both my Zgemma boxes are showing 'Tune failed' on quite a few channels.

I've replaced my two-way splitter, my cables and my male F-connector. No improvement.

Things are okay without the splitter but the set up now seems to be having the kind of negative effect I haven't experienced before.

Any ideas what to do? Should I get one of these?

Tune fail issue

Hi,

I'm getting a similar problem to this. I get tune failed on about 10 hd channels and a bit of freezing (5/7 seconds now and then). I've tried the box (zgemma) on a neighbours all good. The cable length leading from my cab is massive (+30 metres). I was also thinking of buying the booster YonyY has mentioned above? Is there anything else I should try though. I'm assuming that the cable itself is ok as I am getting the majority of channels and the majority of HD.

Any advice guidance gratefully recieved

Tried the Konig booster - no joy. Tried an attenuator. No joy. Anyone any ideas?
