problem with router and duo 2

This is a weird problem im having .
got 2 boxes on homeplugs and a vu duo 2 plugged directly into my bt hub.
with the duo 2 connected via ethernet cable to hub i get zero upload speed via my router on any device via wifi. download speed is ok ( 40 m ish )
when i unplug the ethernet i get 20m upload and all is well with the world...
plug back in and DL ok but upload back to zero.

running vix
restarted box
checked signal ( 2 x sat inputs and all ok )
only use it for FTA and it works fine...

any ideas??

might you be using mgcamd and possible faulty mg_cfg file?
all boxes have their own ip address?
best to use modem mode on hub and a router added for using wifi if needed.

Have you tried your duo2 on wireless as it works well.I run sat and IPTV wireless on my duo2 without problem.
