problem with volume?

I have a strange problem with my sat box.

I can be watching a channel with the volume at a sensible level,then turn over to another channel and it's extremely loud! there seems to me no balance between them??

has anyone experienced this before?

I'm running an lx2 on openvix and sound is via an optical cable to my samsung surround sound

I had the same problem with my lx2 and sound bar. How I fixed it was to turn up the volume full on the sat box and then reduce the volume using the sound bar control

there is a plugin you can download called volume adjust. You can specifically set the volume of each channel. Once downloaded it lives in the audio menu and not plugins.
