Problems With Starview 7???

Hi,

Everything works bar the Internet connection?
It went off the air 3 days ago all it says is not connected:
I still think it something to do with the firmware. Went off last week and I got a email with the Firmware 3.00 upps attached: Was ok for a week then "NOT CONNECTED” Anyone else getting this problem? Can you tell me when you go into your IP Address it showing Zeros :
obviously if there no Network connection [IT WONT WORK]
Went around to my mates and tried my lan connector and lead on his box?
No/problem- Tried his connectors on my BOX don’t work?
Tried my Box on his connections No/JOY

as said before maybe a pc shop can check lan connections inside box,or a tv repair shop.

Am Taking the OLD ONE to a mate of mine to have the lan female conector tested out!

there are rumours nothing proven about starview knocking off boxes as some connected with the firmware and some did not and some are left with just an led light on box,unsure if a hard wired fix by null modem cable is available.other box i might have gone for would be a kryptview but no cable and wrong country,sat is better.
