quick question- is firmware updated or not on my box?

hi ,

ive been given a box by someone to put a line on it.

every time I tried to flash it I get an error message.

now ive hooked it up to the sat cable and the full channel list is there (sly ect)

howver I cant get the 9111 option to appear.

is there anyway to check what version firmware is installed ?

or is there another way to get into the 9111 menu?

Well the post is in the blade media BM5000S section so that might be a give away lol
 
try following bees guide for this box .its step by step 2 set it up.shud be in bm5000s section on forum
 
OK solved.

Bees guide is what I'd been trying to do.
I found a later firmware September 14 I think and that one worked for me.

No matter how many times or USB sticks bees July firmware wouldn't go in my box.
