Real or clone vu solo??

Hi guy
Need a little expert help here. I got a vu solo that I cannot identify as genuine or a clone. It has blackhole 1.6.6 installed. All help badly needed!!

The Image version number should give you a clue.


Clones will not flash the latest Blackhole images after 1.66

Thank you for you help m8....Looks like I may have a clone then cos I tried newer images and 1.66 is the only one I have working. Any idea what clone it might be Ferrari etc? Or any other images I could use?

The pic you posted is a solo 2 though?

think i agree its a clone of unknown origin as the back is not the same as my original from wos
notice the icons between lan port and phonos.

there are pleanty of vu+solo clone safe images out there.

Thanks again,but I tried a few clone safe images but no luck. They seem specific to certain versions of clones eg v1 3 etc.

- Gstreamer 1.8.0 stable release for all receivers (including spark)
- New bootlogo by .:MarcinO:.
- Upgrade OpenVPN to 2.3.8.
- Upgrade OpenSSH to 7.1p2.
- Upgrade OpenSSL to 1.0.2g.
- Upgrade vsftpd to 3.0.3.
- Patched and bumped Python due to OpenSSL not supporting SSLv3 anymore.
- Upgrade Japhar-IPTV List to 1.6.
- Upgrade rtmpdump from oe-alliance and let it provide librtmp as well.
- Upgrade ffmpeg to 3.0.1.
