Recording and what size HDD to get

Hi all, I've recently purchased a Blade BM5000s box. I would like to get a hard drive so I can record things, what size would you recommend? How much space does a 1 hour recording usually take?

I bought a seagate 500GB from T**co, with usb 3.0 connectivity........... it works great. The BM5000s is only USB 2.0 but I figured if the hard drive was fast enough for USB 3.0 then it should be great for the blade BM5000s. I was right it works great! £40 well spent.... flash drives are no good though.
