Recording problem

Running a Sky and Virgin sub on H2H. How do I know what sky channel to record whilst watching a channel from the cable side ?.
I keep getting "no available tuner" etc etc. It works sometimes but it's very hit and miss. Is there a way of telling the sky channels from the cable ones ?

Generally the premium hd channels in the sky bouquets are cable and the rest sky.
You will be best recording a channel from the all channels bouquet at the bottom that's vm then watch other channels in the other bouquets press down for epg that will tell you what's available the channels that aren't highlighted you can't watch
