Hi, apologies just some more quesitions I could do with assistance on.
I am going to be ordering my VU+ Duo box today with Vix image. I was wondering if anyone had sucessfully setup remote recording outside their LAN for this or any other box? I know VU do a App called VU player but from what I understand this will only work on LANs and that I may need something like DynDNS? Are there any alternatives to this or has anyone set this up or can point me to a step by step guide of what I would need to do?
Also what do people tend to use for telnet access to their receivers? I use PuTTy as part of my job and presume this would work OK?
