Does anyone know if it is possible to use a single cable for both cable tv and terrestrial ?

The problem is I have just purchased a kva850 and only have 1 cable 2 not possible terrestrial far better picture with no glitches

Not quite sure of your problem. Why is it not possible to have 2 cables?

Just buy an F type to F type lead for your 850.

The walls are over 3ft thick and solid stone, the original cable route was a nightmare and only enough space for 1 cabl

Terrestrial tv is freeview in a nut shell so you just need an outside aerial to get those channels and most tvs now have freeview built in and your vermin cable will go straight into the 850... Not sure if this is what you meant... but your vermin cable will only give you terrestrial tv via a box either sub or your KV

your kv box is going to need a vm cable feed and a lan connection.
