Scripts and Guide for setting up OpenVPN with Most VPN,s on Enigma2

Ok so I went back tried agian different openvpn files the one with certificates and it is working not all countries but UK london that I could not get working at all as you know we both tried a while back.

So new link for ivacy openvpn files
https://ivacy.s3.amazonaws.com/support/OpenVPN-Configs-with-certificate.rar
P.S. these are nested i,e
OpenVPN-Configs-with-certificate.rar > OpenVPN 2023 > OpenVPN

Not the greatest VPn but I do Have a lifetime sub so thought I would try again hopefully any other members who may use Ivacy can also give some feedback

EDIT: only tried on openatv 7.3

@urie - I'm still struggling with Ivacy, ran the new script and no connection with openatv 7.3. I've attached a screenshot from Openvpn settings - any ideas?
Going to a funeral at 9:30, so will be unavailable for a few hours.

You're right they're not the same errors, my mistake by not reading them fully.
I'm at a loss to understand why the https://ivacy.s3.amazonaws.com/support/OpenVPN-Configs-with-certificate.rar files @urie posted are working for him and not me? Hoping urie will come back and let me know which ones are working.
Not sure if it's the way I have my box set up, but I currently have 3 of 4 slots occupied with Openatv 6.4, Openatv 7.3 and Vix 6.2. I have configs loaded for Nord, Windscribe and Ivacy. Openatv 6.4 and Vix 6.2 will only run Nord, Openatv 7.3 will run Nord and Windscribe, but none will run Ivacy?

I do not even have vpnmanager on at the moment only tried Ivacy since I had to install vpnmanager to try and find problems another member was having with ipvanish,

I use wireguard plugin with surfshark and there can be problems with openresolv. How are you adding username and password are you using pass.file in configs folder if running @dsayers2014 script it adds those details to etc/enigma2 settings file so you cannot have more than one vpn provider in there.

Sorry but I will be busy tommorrow but will try reinstalling vpnmanager on another slot on sunday to test ivacy again , But with openatv things change everyday :((

Thanks for your replies @urie and @dsayers2014
I have a pass.file in each of the three vpn folders with the relevant info for each. I've now removed my password and username from vpn manager and the settings file located in etc/enigma, but that hasn't helped. I can still switch between Nord and Windscribe? I'm using the vpn username I was issued when joining ivacy and have asked their support to confirm it is correct, and they say it is.

ok you asked if your password and username was correct you could have asked why you cannot connect to any servers. on enigma2, I wiil try tommorrow to see if my configs are still working with tcp and you could post the log file to them.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, they have not been successful, both openvpn logs show the same fault as before. I cannot see any differences in the ovpn files you sent, compared to the ones I’ve tried?

Hi Franklin,

Thank you for your reply.

I have tried all you suggested, but still cannot connect to IVACY servers:

· I downloaded your IVACY OpenVPN Files with Certificates and have 76 locations (75 tcp & 76 udp, no Monaco tcp), but no certificates were found in the folders
· I used xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx as the username
· I used my IVACY login password as the password
· OpenVPN Manager on my device shows all 76 locations with options for tcp or udp (apart from Monaco tcp), so 151 ovpn files in total
· All ovpn files are located in a folder named ivacy on my device
· Default DNS within OpenVPN Manager is showing 255.255.255.3
· VPN DNS 1 OpenVPN Manager is showing 8.8.8.8
· VPN DNS 2 OpenVPN Manager is showing 8.8.4.4
· I created a pass.file with the above username and password within the ivacy folder on my device

I also tried to running a VPN Script Generator, with the below result:

· Connecting to support.ivacy.com|104.18.199.99|:443... connected.
· HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 403 Forbidden
· 2023-04-12 12:25:33 ERROR 403: Forbidden.

I use Windscribe and NORD on the same device via OpenVPN Manager and have had no problems setting it up or connecting to the servers.

Please advise.

Hi, I cannot seem to find a way to generate vpn credentials in order to use Ivacy via openvpn for Enigma2 and then download tcp/udp ovpn files. Can you please advise?

@nilo73 , and @dsayers2014 , ok just ran script from scratch to let it download config files and install vpnmanager rather than using my older ivacy2 configs folder I renamed that so script would make new folder and add. Basicly no problems here on openatv7.3,
only UDP servers will not connect as mentioned before and Ivacy username and password has been added to settings.

Options error: Unrecognized option or missing or extra parameter(s) in /etc/openvpn/UK_Manchester_OB_UDP.conf:13: scramble (2.6.3)
Use --help for more information.

@nilo73 make sure you have also turned of resolv config in vpnmanager settings with that enabled even TCP will not connect with ivacy.

I deleted vpn manager and reinstalled as per @dsayers2014 guide on page 1. When installed I then set openvpn resolv to no and tried to connect to manchester tcp, but no joy. I now have this error.
