Setting up EPG.

Evening guys..

I'm struggling with my box. I've installed a hard drive inside and can pause/record etc, but cannot get the epg to save direct to the hard drive so that it is always populated.

I've mounted it, created 256mb swap, selected my provider I'm crossepg. When I press download it says "starting downloader" for around 10 seconds then goes back to the cross epg menu.

i save it to a usb as its better there than having hdd spin up when needed.
dont forget usb needs to be mounted and converted ext3 filesystem to ext4


epg-settings-epg location=/media/usb
crossepg-configure-enable csv import=yes-schedule download=once a day.
open tv providers -sky uk open tv-press ok to leave a green tick-yellow to download and green to save.

how did you get on with your plug in menu?

oops boo boo dont run a swap file on vu solo2 as it is more powerful than solo and duo which need a swap file ,i still use usb for epg as it saves hdd from spinning up when loading.
what plugin menu? downloading plugins adds more stuff if needed.:yes!:
