Hi guys

I'm running a vu+ solo4k, openatv 6.2. I've noticed the snr is 81-95%, agc 70-91% and the ber is -321, does this seem high for the ber? I can get the ber lower by using an attenuater. I get freezing now and again, oscam shows 98% ok and 2% nok. Are the signal levels read reliably in openatv?
 
uk does seem to have strange readings as i never have ber on my cable signal,no ber on sat either.
cables and correct splitter in use and lan cable?
 
Thanks for the reply, I'm using wft100 cables with a cat 6e ethernet cable. The splitter is from virgin it's 5-1218
 
BER is Bitrate Error Correction and ideally be zero.
Any difference is usually due to interference
