Signal SNR bouncing

Split the feed using a lab gear 5-1000 splitter and got a picture on channel 1 to 5 but it's pixelating quite badly.

The SNR is dropping from 100% to 50% then to zero! Then back to 100% again. This only happens when he signal is split. If I connect straight into the white box it's fine and stay stable at 100%.

Have the latest version of box on a duo 2

Any ideas?

Check your Connections again, make sure there's no straying copper wires touching the inner core.
If your using cheap cable change it for a decent pure copper core cable WF 100
Using incorrect cables will cause issues

Thanks all connections appear good and the cable is pf100.

The minute I unplug the router connection the signal stabilises.

Narrowed it down to signal only dropping when cable modem is switched on.

Try another splitter - you may need an amplified one.

Glad you're sorted - I'm surprised that a Labgear one would fail... I have used plenty of their 5-2400mhz from Screwfix and all been fine.

i keep telling people not to use 5-2400mhz as it lets in interference outside vm signal range

Never had an issue with the 5-2400 ones and i've fitted loads - maybe I just got lucky.

The OP used a 5-1000 by the way too.
