Single channel freezing

Can a subscription provider have issues if everyone is watching the same channel or does it not make a difference?

Just got a new subscription and the 24 hour test didn't have any issues at all but trying to watch football now and it's freezing everyone couple of minutes. Other premium channels including ss2 are fine.
 
oversubscribed server all tuning in to watch the footy at the same time, all the cheap servers are oversubscribed coz of the price
