Help pls trying to upgrade skybox f5 using rs232 as usb port not being recognised but getting message id hardware mismatch

try it using windows xp and it should work for you

Depends on what you are trying to upgrade to---there are no recent upgrades for the F5.
Mismatch means wrong file or "clone".

Does this mean the box cannot be updated

Go meu--tools--info and see what date f/w you are using and come back here with info.
