1..get a Genuine cheap sat box skybox f3s f5s for about £75 with p+p about get a boxhere
get one from here this box is all setup

Skybox F3 - F5 - F6

Entering a CCcam line into the F3 or F5 via a USB stick

I've taken some of this from the openbox tutorial.

Format the USB stick fat32, so,this will be the only file on the stick .


(note if this doesn't work read post 25 I have recently found a slight glitch)


1. Create a file called CCcam.cfg using wordpad or notepad

2. Open “CCcam.cfg” file , and copy and paste the available code into notepad or wordpad and save it.

e.g.

If you buy an
(C Line)

C: test.dm800.com 12000 user1008 password


If you buy an
( N line )

the method is the same, the line you paste in will look like this

N: test.dm800.com 12000 user1008 password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Oh !! believe you need the capital C when you name the file "CCcam.cfg"

To load it on to your box use

Menu - Network Local Settings - Camds Setup - CCcam Client Setup - Update Files by USB

Press ok to put a tick (or green add button) next to CCcam.cfg (CCam plug)
Press yellow "read" button.
Let the box read in the file, Exit out of the menus and Reboot your box.

John4444 can you tell me what the two test_write1 test_write2 files are please as my brother has a sky box and he had an update for his skybox f3 and he had the exact 3 items in his folder except for the cccam.cfg other words the note pad with server user name and pass but what are them two files thoe. As i got my channel list off the site i got my box off all in one with firmwaare just waiting on a good cheap sealion to come along. THANKS :)

Hi, when creating the CCcam.cfg file what do you actually paste into notepad?
Host?
Port?
user?
password?
des key?

Ive got an N line sent out to me and was going to manually type it in which seems just as easy but I am interested in this method.

if your suplier as sent you a line such as N: sample-tv.org 12000 anyname password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 take the whole line and paste it into notpad however when saving in notepad remember to change the file setting to All files instead of the default Txt files, and save the name as CCcam.cfg

It's all in the first post mate. N: web address port username password 01 - 14

This method didn't work for me, but I was able to manually input it.

I have changed the details in my one and attached it, so you can see what I mean

the PC will probably say it does not know what program to open it with, choose the option of choosing a program from a list and choose notepad
 
Hi new to here and don't understand most of what you are talking about,I am looking into getting skybox.
1st best place to purchase and price
2nd are they easy to install myself ie plug in and go easy.

Hi all,
Im quite new to this, I have a skybox f3 and had this box for over 2 years I got this box from a friend (provider) with channels on it and now as the suscription is finished and I wanted to put my own line in the box which will be way cheaper for me and something to learn also.
I have seen on ebay/amazon for gifts but just wanna put my own line as the gifts are generally unreliable with glitches.
i would appreciate it someone can help as im very new to this
