it's for F3 box but they're all pretty much the same (I think) :)

Change FEC

Anyone any idea on how to change a channel's FEC or even at TP Level? Need to search 11551 , 22000 but 5/6

Oh well....

Received my F6 today and then found out on the Skybox.cc website that they don't make an F6 model :-)

Oh well I guess I ll try and see what it can and cant do :-)

Can't complain for $100 NZ Dollars


Will keep you posted.

Hi, I bought F6 recently, but it doesn't have any setup for North America, I'll appreciate help with setting up 118 w/ 119 w 110 w satellites. I can't find any firmware/ bin files. Thanks in advance

I bought the F6 but Youtube doesn't work, it reboots the receiver if you click on anything in there. It's a bad buy. No support and no firmware upgrade.
I could be wrong but I believe it's a copy of Openbox X5

Well, for info: I converted my Skybox F6 to Openbox X5 and everything is working just fine. I think I'll keep it that way now. At least there are updates and firmware for the Openbox

To find hidden menus on the skybox f6.
1. Press the menu button on the remote.
2. Highlight System setup press the ok button on the remote.
3. Then press 2778 on the remote and you'll see Access Control appear at the bottom of the list below Factory Reset.
That's where your CCcam goes.

I've played the game over the last few days...

I had to upgrade the firmware with the one linked on this page: - then Access Control menu came up following these instructions:


downloaded and installed firmware
downloaded channel list from

YOU ARE KIDDING, RIGHT? Linking to other forums when the information is here already. If you just search, for channel list, you will find both cwaites and aj's I the one thread.

is focused on BBC Scotland but is more recent.

I have it working fine.
