Sly channel numbers/recording to HDD

So, at risk of sounding like a total n00b - I apologise.

I've hooked up an external HDD to my zGemma box.
It's a 1TB WD and shows up as media/HDD in my EPG list.

Question(s) I have are;

1) How do I get Sly numbered channels so they aren't 1049, 1050 and so on.
2) How do I get my EPG list to download, I have set it all up, but there's still some blank channel lists (probably an easy fix)
3) Is it possible to set up timers to record? So I can say record BBC1 and 9pm-10pm if I'm out or forget to record it, or do I need to physically switch over at 9pm, press record to end of current program?

I'm a novice at these type of things, I'm getting there though...

If you've just set it it it can take a bit of time to load the epg my 2s won't load until the automatic run of autouboutiques at 4 am for some reason but then all is fine unless you switch it off at the back my h2s though doesn't just loads up straight away, with the epg loaded you can set to record days in advance, as for channel numbers it depends on what build you have I think I downloaded the picons pack through wooshbuild instructions and mine are all similar to sky's own

I've just somehow solved all three issues. A simple reboot and the channel lists were correct and I did a bit of YouTubing and managed to find an answer for recording too.
