As of the 18th July sly sports is changing to 10 channels dedicated channels for premiere league golf cricket etc. Don't know how this will change anything on virmin but hope we carry on getting channels o_O

Do you mean you could just order it for a day @ 60p? I would think it's more likely to be £18/month which works out at 60p a day.

I think the only issue for us will be how quick ABM updates the channel list.

It should be straight forward for abm. For sky it's likely they will stay on the blocked transponder if not they will go on straight away. It's only when new HD channels come out abm needs to add them to the whitelist but sky sd channels should go on straight away.

For cable just delete abm bouquets then do an automatic scan then rescan abm to clear the lamedb file I'm still not sure why that happens with channel names on cable but changes straight away on sat. For my custommix I'll have to look at the channel numbers for sky and vm but it shouldn't take long to sort.

think cable should be ok with new channels i would worry more with iptv servers as they will have to find sources for them channels

My technomate auto scans during night and all changed sports channels are up and running with correct names in epg this morning
