Are the splitters for cable the same type as satellite? I am looking to split my feed in for 1 to 2 feeds but just wondering wether or not any f connector splitter will do or does it need to be a specific frequency etc?

I wouldn't use cheap unbranded stuff like that no matter how many they have sold... The Tratec ones are the ones that VM use but if you wanted a stronger one then Screwfix sell Labgear 5-2400mhz ones too.
 
Ok thankyou very much, think I will go with a branded one to be on the safe side. I have seen the lab gear one think I will go with that, what do you mean by the strength of them ?
 
Just different frequencies is all - I have used several of the Labgear 5-2400mhz ones from Screwfix and they have been fine although as said, VM fit 5-1000mhz Tratec ones.
