Ssp2

Running out

TK Veteran
Don't watch this channel much but just noticed it's moved ,can any one tell how to move the new ssp2 to my hd channel list

I have the same problem at the mo, SS2 HD still showing as sky ashes
and is scrambled, I know it is looking at the wrong frequency.

Rescanned on sat, downloaded new NDF file and still the same.

It is showing SS2 (not HD) on right frequency and channel clears as usual.

You may have to wait until the NDF file is updated

I know, but my HD channel shows the same frequency as Running outs box
and is scrambled,

I can see what the problem is but I don't know how to get the HD channel to tune to 12344

SS2 ( not HD) is showing the right frequency and clears no probs.

Ok, It can be done, I've been messing about with the box and sussed it out.

Its a bit long winded so I will just outline the main steps.

If this becomes a regular thing I will post a tutorial with pics.

Step 1 Search for the channel, you will need the correct frequency.
(There is also a few variations on how to scan but this will do)
( In this case it's SS2 HD)

Menu - Installation - Channel Search
Pin 0000 - change scan mode to manual

Freq 12.343
Sym Rate 29.500
Polerisation H

Scan (red button)

You should now have the cleared channel at the very end of your "All" group.

Step 2 Delete the Old Channel (if necessary)

Press the group button and put the TV on the sports group (in this case)

Menu - Channels - Delete Channels

Put an "X" by the channel you want to delete

Press Exit and save the changes.

The channel is now deleted from all groups.

Step 3 Add your new channel to the group you want.

Menu - Channels - Set Favorites

Select the group you want to add the channel to (Say Sport) - OK

On the left hand side of the screen you should see " group - sport"

The channel list should be the "All" list.

Find the channel you want to add press OK to put a "heart" by it (selected)
Exit and save changes.

The new channel should appear at the end of the channel list in the sport group.

Step 4 Move the channel into the correct position in the channel list

Press the group button and put the TV on the sport group

Menu - Channels - Move Channels

(You should see down the left of the screen you are working in the sport group)

Find your channel (at the end of the list)

Press OK to select it

Scroll up to the correct position in the list

(Blue Button) to move it in position.

Finally, If you want it to appear in the HD group too !!!!!

You will have to repeat this little lot using the HD group !!

Good Luck !!! if you can be bothered lol

Hi all.

as I've just posted on another thread SS2hd works fine for me .. Scotland file, and always has, 11719h

just loaded all of them one by one from blade online to check and all of them work. Are you sure your "gift" package has the 11719 version of the channel?

King of Sat shows it as being on 11719h too.

i know quite a lot of people with blades and they are all fine as well on 11719. Maybe the problem is not with the file.

There is definitely SS2hd on 11719 because I am watching it, so the frequency is definitely correct in that it is carrying SS2.

if it is coming up scrambled then you are not receiving a key for that channel, which won't be the fault of the channel file, it will be the fault of your gift.

just a guess because I'm no expert, but there are a few versions of the channel, such as a pub version, an Irish version, an English version etc. .. Maybe you are on an Irish gift / card and it only opens the Irish version, and 11719 is the English version, or vice versa if you know what I mean?

scrambled definitely means the channel is there but your card/gift doesn't have a key for it. The channel file is fine.
