starview hd combo channel problem

hi,

i am having problems with starview hd combo box, the server says it is connected however all the channels show scrambled channel.
what can i do to get the channels working, could you please provide information which is simple as i am a newb to all this jargon.

do you have to reboot box modem and router as in off for 30 secs then on,do you need to enable connection with a code?
