Strong Signal But Constant Freezing

all my boxes i use micro 8 gb usb to store my epg to,never heard of external memory.

what way is box connected to lan?

is internet slow when this box is in use thinking a faulty mg_cfg file?

So i decided to completely reflash my box and start from scratch.
New softcam files, the latest Vix, no skins, no plugins.....comepletely bare bones.

I'm still getting freezing no end.

Signal is on 100%, i've tried 2 different providers. Still get a lot of freezing
Totally at a dead end

Anyone on here i can get a test line from so i can try another, Please PM.

Have you rebooted your router? Also try using a static IP address to rule out another device sharing?

Yeah rebooted router numerous times.
I could be wrong but i really dont think it a network issue.

Another thing to point out.
Aside from the freezing on many channels they can take a good 5,6,7 seconds to even come on when you select them.
What would cause that massive delay? The provider server??

I get that 5,6,7 second thing must be down to the way the line clears the channel?

Have you thought about adding an attenuator if your signal is strong?

Hi,

Do you get in on BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5? Not the HD variants as these aren't FTA. Also check the cables, try changing them too.

Do you use an external USB for epg data and was it formatted to fat32 ? Your auto bouquets maker/epg info has to go on a suitable storage or can cause issues exactly like this

do you have a keepalive above the line?

on your line how does it start? should be something like this -

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 60
CWS = myserver.gov.uk 18002 username password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1

My line just looks like this

CWS = myserver.gov.uk 18002 username password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Where does the keepalive = 60 bit go?
Like you have it above?

You shouldn't be getting a delay like that, try other test lines
