Stupid TV cant get full picture with HDMI

I have a 42" plasma TV that I paid the earth for back in the day when they were the dogs...
Having a problem with my zgemma s2 box when connected to the hdmi port.
Its not showing all of the pic.
In the EPG for eg on the left I cant see the name of the channels and its driving me nuts.
I couldnt get the HDMI to work at first and when I did I had this problem.
Beacuse its an older TV doesnt have the same funtions for changing settings. Cant change the resolution or anything like that.
Any Ideas guys???
Probably just have to suffer on or change TVs(not).

I think you'll find the picture is set to 720. When I installed mine I had exactly the same issue, adjusted it to 1080 and problem solved.

Didn't need to adjust the screen postition.
