Tune failed

Ok, sat line is fine. No probs. Up until yesterday the cable line was fine and now it's just saying "tune failed". I haven't changed any settings at all. Cables all look fine. Reflashed, sorted netid out. Nothing. No channels found.

Any ideas? Box duff?
 
Do you keep a vm package ie internet only if not they may have cut off your feed

Your saying your getting tune failed so you need to work out why are you getting fta channrls 1 to 5 sd? can you take the box somewhere else?
 
No you should be able to scan all channels but be able to view fta channels that's why I'm suspecting it to be tuner or cable issue

Sorry when I say line I mean cable. So if the entire cable fees is off even fta wouldn't be found?
 
That's why I suggested trying the box at another house then you will know if it's the tuner on box or a cable wire or they may have cut off your feeds to give room to connect someone else.

Will give it a go. Something else strange - I'm using your image with dual lines but since the cable went down ABM is crashing every time I try and scan. I've turned tuner B off, turned VM scan to 'No' and it crashes enigma every time. any ideas?
 
It'll be the custom.xml ftp usr/lib/enigma2/Extensions/AutoBouquetsMaker/custom and delete the sat_282_uk_CustomMix.xml and rescan abm.

You will be best stopping all CronTimers press red button, plugins, cron manager highlight customupdater and press yellow to stop cron job

Still crashing unfortunately. Deleted the XML file and rebooted but not having it. Log attached. I dont have Cron manager in plugins? Log...

I thought you was on the openatv image? The vix image uses a modified abm file that downloads the custom.xml while abm scans so there's no work around for it.

Have a look through the vix image thread for main.py you need to use that I no longer have that file on pc or Dropbox so I can't change it.

Loaded your openatv image. a lot quicker than the old vix. still no VM though. damn.
