Hi, if i was to buy a a twin tuner box, does it only require one cable feed to be able to record 2x channels?

You would only need a 2 way splitter as the other feed is a sat feed

It would all depend on what box you bought m8, some need 2 cables, & some need 1 cable [ tuner is internally split ]

don't use cheap nasty splitters like the one in the picture
Technetix, Tratec or Labgear are the only ones worth using for VM

You would need a sat sub and a cable sub, not much left on sat, probably not worth paying for,
There are enough repeats to get away with just using the cable tuners 🤣

Zgemma H5.2TC = 1 cable feed (box will split the signal internally) then you can also add sat cable.

As above, don't use that pictured splitter.

got no room for them the socket is behind the tv which is wall mounted.

Should be fine on WiFi if ha e good speeds and android box works well on wifi
