You'll have to eventually as they'll cut the feeds for the older images the latest image has to be done from scratch no settings restore so depends if you can be bothered can't say that I ever notice much difference really did my duo 2 the other week but haven't seen any major differences.
Yeah I like the idea of having the latest image but I'm reluctant to touch anything as it's working relatively fine as it is. I have one gripe with picture freezing while watching one premium channel and recording another premium channel at the same time which I have never got to the bottom of but other than that it's working fine.
