THANK YOU FLORIDA AND KENTUCKY !!!!

Florida and Kentucky the first states that will require drug testing when applying for welfare, effective July 1st!

Some people are crying this is unconstitutional.

How is this unconstitutional?

It's OK to drug test the people who work for their money but not those who don't ?
 
With the amount of spammers around here lately, TechKings will have to start dope testing new members too lol
 
Gotta agree with you Endo, if it is good enough for the worker, it is good enough for those who want welfare, maybe this will hurry them back to work

Hey wheelo bro, but gotta disagree. To paraphrase Forrest Gump, "Selfish is as selfish does"
 
But it's not just the fact that a drug test is taking place, is it?
The question to ask is, how are the results of the drug tests going to be used?
If it ends up with somebody saying, "You are a regular crack cocaine user so no benefits for you until you clean up your act" that's one thing but, what if it ends up with somebody saying, "You are a regular crack cocaine user so we will give you an extra $200 each week to fund your habit".
And don't say it couldn't happen.
